An in-depth look at the syrups and spices that steer spirits into the tropical flavor profiles that we know and love in Tropical cocktails. We’ll review common and uncommon flavors found in Tropical cocktails, including a breakdown of the flavors that the founding fathers of Tiki relied on, as well as newer innovations. We'll discuss how these syrups are sourced and how they can be created at home. A small recipe cook booklet will be provided to attendees.
With thirteen years of experience, Kyle has managed and consulted for bars such as The Hula Hula Room and Tiki Kai. He is a certified spirits specialist and sits on the United States Bartender's Guild Board of Educators.
